VEHICLE ID Award Nominations

Let’s recognize great performance! Nominations are due on 1 May 2021 for the
following:

The Components/Parts Marking Award honors any person or organization for
distinguished performance where the marking of vehicle and equipment
components or parts played a significant role in the success of a vehicle crime
investigation or related initiative.

Vehicle manufacturers may be recognized for developing and deploying
innovative VIN labels, supplemental ID marks, in-factory electronic parts marking,
etc. Aftermarket suppliers may be recognized for etching or branding solutions,
RF tags, microdots, DNA fluids, UV light markings and other antitheft marking
methods. Nominees must be eligible for IAATI membership but need not be active
members.

The Vehicle Identification Award honors any person or organization for
exceptional performance in the general field of vehicle identification during
criminal investigations. Examples of such performance may include successful
vehicle ID with significant positive impact, innovative training programs, use of
advanced technologies, bold initiatives or other substantial efforts that advanced
the field of vehicle identification in support of criminal investigations.

Nominees must be eligible for IAATI membership but need not be active members.

Award nominations should include a brief written recommendation with any
supporting documents, photographs, etc. to demonstrate the nominee meets the
criteria listed above.

We respectfully request that all nominations be provided to us, your IAATI Vehicle
Identification Committee co-chairs by 1 May 2021.
